Basingstoke & Newbury show some ‘Synergie’ with creative media students

Synergie Basingstoke and Newbury recently hosted Creative Media production students from Queen Mary’s College Basingstoke.

The visit to digital and litho print production sites provided the students the opportunity to view the different printing & finishing techniques in operation.

The application of each print method from both a supplier and client perspective were discussed and demonstrated as to how these may be used by the students in their future careers.

Daniel Field, General Manager of Synergie Basingstoke said “We were delighted to be able to host the students and show them printing and multi channel marketing in practice, these students are after all the next wave of creative designers, marketers and procurement professionals. It’s great to be able to discuss the views of the next generation of potential clients and business partners”.

Matt Hook, Head of Department – Media & Film Studies QMC said “The two site visits provided the platform for the students to cover various criteria within their coursework while engaging with industry professionals. It’s refreshing that a local company takes time to help the student’s progress with their studies, following the success of these visits we hope to repeat the process again next year”.
